SEE Telecom designs and manufactures AM off-air repeater
- To enhance the AM radio coverage of commercial radio channels;
- To broadcast some specific information, emergency messages or advertisement.
The repeater can process up to 8 AM channels, all independently, both in frequency and in power, through AGC function and digital filters. Built-in waterproof wall-mounted rack, the DAB repeater can be installed in the harshest environment, indoors and outdoors.
The repeater has two RF connectors: one for the AM antenna, pointing towards the respective AM emitting stations, and the second is connected to the antenna or radiating cable in the infrastructure.
Monitoring and control can be done locally using a Web browser, or remotely via SNMP directly connected to a SCADA (SNMP manager).
