Successful Installation of an Advanced Radio Communication System in the TS26 and TS32 Tunnels on the S3 Highway in Poland
SEE Telecom, in partnership with Radiopartners, has successfully completed the installation of a state-of-the-art radio communication system in two road tunnels located on the Legnica-Lubawka section of the S3 highway, near Gostków. This project aims to enhance safety and communication efficiency during emergencies. The system covers the following tunnels:
- TS26: a two-tube road tunnel with a length of 2300 meters.
- TS32: a two-tube road tunnel with a length of 320 meters.
The installed system includes a comprehensive range of communication channels tailored to the specific needs of incident management and maintenance operations:
- 4 FM channels equipped with Voice Break-In (VBI) capabilities, enabling immediate communication in emergencies.
- 8 VHF simplex channels dedicated to public safety services
- 3 VHF duplex channels dedicated to public safety services
- 2 UHF DMR channels dedicated to maintenance services.
- 4 TETRA channels for secure and reliable mission-critical communications.
