SEE Telecom has participated in the renovation of the radio coverage of one of the world's longest urban motorway tunnels - the A86 Duplex tunnel.
The installed solutions of the see smart® road tunnel are:
- The underground continuity of the ACROPOL network - the radio communications system of the French National Police,
- TETRA communications between the operator and the operating staff,
- 10 FM stations,
- see smart® digivas voice alert managing software, which allows insertion of emergency messages on the FM frequencies in seven different zones of the tunnel,
- see smart® digiguard software – digital monitoring system which is fully compatible with the client’s SCADA.
The A86 Duplex tunnel consists of 2 superimposed tubes with a length of 10.1 km each and is located at the south-western section of A86 highway - the second ring road around Paris. It is the longest road tunnel located entirely on French territory.
