Advanced Radio Communication System Successfully Implemented in Abu Dhabi
SEE Telecom, in collaboration with Nova Systems, has successfully completed the installation of a cutting-edge radio communication system within the Al-Mina Zayed tunnel in Abu-Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This vital project significantly enhances both safety and operational efficiency in these essential infrastructure elements.
The system now provides comprehensive coverage across a total of 6,328 meters:
- Salam Tunnel: A dual-tube tunnel spanning 2,000 meters.
- Al-Mina Tunnels: Four one-tube tunnels, with lengths of 507 meters, 485 meters, and 568 meters on Level 1, and 768 meters on Level 2.
The installed system includes:
- 8 FM channels equipped with Voice Break-In (VBI) capabilities, allowing for immediate communication in emergencies.
- 2 TETRA channels for secure and reliable mission-critical communications.
- 2 public safety LTE channels that support high-speed data transfer and emergency services.
These features are seamlessly managed using SEE Telecom’s advanced see smart® digiguard and see smart® digivas software, ensuring robust and secure communication in all conditions.
