UHF Radio Repeater
SEE Telecom designs and manufactures UHF repeater systems
(BDA – Bi-Directional Amplifiers):
- To enhance the radio coverage of public safety networks ;
- To extend the coverage of private radio networks in major infrastructures like shopping centers, exhibition halls, convention centers, hospitals, confined areas such as service corridors, tunnels, underground car parks, offshore platforms, onshore refineries, etc...
Built-in waterproof wall-mounted rack, the UHF repeater can be installed in any harsh environment, indoors or outdoors.
The UHF can be ordered with different frequencies, powers, different power supply voltages, with or without battery backup, and with a GSM modem.
Because each installation is unique, SEE Telecom proposes a complete portfolio of solutions with off-air and optical repeaters, advanced technologies as band selective, channel selective, AGC per time slot, squelch, frequency shifting, WDM, remote monitoring HTTP-SNMP.
The UHF repeater has three RF connectors, one connected to the antenna pointing toward the base station and the second one is connected to the antenna or radiating cable in tunnel or building.
Monitoring and control can be done via SNMP, SCADA, via Ethernet using a web browser installed on a PC which gives access to the GUI, or remotely via an optional LTE modem which allows accessing the repeaters GUI from everywhere, using the 4G network and the third connector. This interface contains an easy configuration page.
The UHF repeater also has a sum alarm output that can be connected to an external alarm system.
